GUWAHATI, May 5: Assam Football Association, in collaboration with the All India Football Federation (AIFF), will organize a talent search camp for the U-17 soccer players in the state. The three-day camp will be held at the Sarusajai Sports complex from May 22 under the supervision of Nicolai Adam, chief coach of Indian U-17 team for 2017 World Cup. India will host the next edition of U-17 World cup in 2017.
Ankur Dutta, the secretary of the Assam Football Association, informed the media that association had requested different district units to send two promising players in the camp. He also added that the players, who will be selected through this camp from different parts of the country, will be trained in AIFF's U-17 soccer academy.
