Tamulpur youth kills father

Tamulpur, Feb 20: Sensation prevailed at Tamulpur after a son killed his father on Sunday night at Ghogmari village under Tamulpur Police Station in the district of Baksa.

According to Tamulpur Police, Benga Boro (55) had a conflict with his son Bijoy Boro (30) on Sunday night at about 8.30 pm in their house. In a fit of rage, Bijoy allegedly attacked his father with a stick. Villagers rushed to the house and found Benga dead.

 Bijoy surrendered at Tamulpur Police station at night. A police team arrived and recovered the body of Benga and sent it for postmortem.  Bijoy was sent to judicial custody. A case has been registered at Tamulpur Police Station against Bijoy and investigation is going on.
