Tangla College annual week under way

TANGLA, Feb 15: The annual college week of Tangla College began on Tuesday.  The programme will conclude on February 17. Principal Dr. Prasen Daimari kicked off the College Week with flag hoisting which was followed by swahid tarpan by the general secretary-in-charge of the Tangla College Students’ Union (TCSU) Santhousa Boro on Tuesday. On Wednesday, Dr. Sabita Mazumdar Kalita iugurated the wall magazine which was followed by various sports competition.  A quiz competition was also held where Prof. Gautam Chakravorty was the quiz master. The four-day event would include various competitions, traditiol fashion show, cultural and literary competition and cultural rally.

On February 17, an open session will be held where Bonjar Daimari, EM of BTC, will be present as the chief guest of the event while Dr. Dith Basumatari, Director of the University and College Development Council, Bodoland University will be the appointed speaker.
