Tapir Gao joins annual day celebrations of St Xavier’s in Arunachal

BORDUMSA: Tapir Gao the State BJP President Arunachal Pradesh joined the Country’s last school St. Xavier’s Primary School located along Indo-Burma border here this afternoon at Manmao in Changlnag District of Easternmost edge of the State on its Annual Day Celebration.

Mr Gao who has been on a sheduled official tour sensitising the people and party workers and assessing the bottom line performance of the party workers was accompanied by local incumbent BJP MLA of 51 Nampong Assembly Constituency(ST) Laisam Simai, Tesam Pongte the MLA Changlang and Komoli Mossang the BJP National Council Member cum an active social and NGO activist.

Mr Gao in his Chief Guest address to the tiny tots of the school greatly appreciated the talents and creativity among the students on the stage and lauded the efforts of the school teaching fraternity for proper gromming and imparting the pupils with a strong and effective base. Citing the example of Former Cabinet Minister LK Advani as one of the best product of a christian missionery school, Mr Gao urged the father , brothers and teaching staffs of the school to also serve the most isolated tribal people along the border area in creating awareness among the local people inrespect of various public utility schemes and programmes offered by the state and centrel government. Stressing more on education and health related schemes and programmes of the government irrespective of party affiliation, Mr Gao remarked ‘war is in the mind and mind should be educated’. As such, parents and teachers should work effectively for proper upbringing of the kids and mould them in such a way that they became an useful asset for the society.

Both the MLAs Mr Simai and Mr Pongte also addressed the students and parents laudeding greatly the hardships and sufferings of the school management committee headed by Father Avon for the yomen services rendered in such as an inacceseable Easternmost hilly tract of the Land of Rising Sun.

Later, Mr Gao laying stone foundation of festival ground in Manmao addressed the party workers and office bearers of various mandal committees and public leaders from Manmao, Nampong and Jairampur at Manmao auditorium hall. Gao in his address to all the stakeholders present said that he would contest in the forth coming MP election from the Eastern Parliamentary seat covering 12 Assembly Seats and sought the mass support for securing victory in the battle. Briefing in a but shell about the plans, programme and schemes of the BJP led Government, Mr Gao urged the poeple to come forward and avail the optimum benifit out of the state and Centrally sponsored avenue. He also urged the administrative machinery to reach out to the poor and the downtrodden.

Advocating strongly the ideology of the saffron, the MLA Changlang Mr Pontey and Mr Simai the only two elected BJP MLAs of the Tirap-Changlang-Longding Districts of the 12 seats urged the house to lend their supports to the former MP Tapir Gao in the next General Election. Mr Gao who had lost the political battle to a congress MP Ninong Erring earlier from the Eastern Parliamentary constituency had secured a complete support from the Changlang and Nampong Constituency.

Mr Gao would visit Nampong on Saturday and take part in the party meeting beside Inaugurating a playground erected out of his initiatives and contribution. He would next visit Roing and join the CM Pema Khanu besides joining the famous Orange Festivel in Dambuk. According to him, country’s Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari would inaugurate the Alubari-Debang bridges on 20th next and open the 18 km long Mahadevpur -Namchik Trans Arunachal High Way for public use.
