Tarun Gogoi seeks high-level probe into Louis Berger case

Tezpur, Feb 5: “Indian people after Independence faced major havoc following demonetization. Mostly, the general people and businessmen suffered and on the other hand, Tata, Birla, Madani and the other corporates were given advantage,” alleged former Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi while addressing a press conference held at Sonitpur District Congress office on Sunday. He demanded a white paper from the BJP government and said that during election, Modi had promised acche din for the people of this country but after the BJP government came to power no acche din was seen. He also said that the condition of the State and people during the Congress government was far better and at the same time, he also admitted that some corruption had taken place during the Congress government’s rule. He appealed to the State Government for a high-level enquiry into the Louis Berger case.
