Tawang incident shocking: MP Ering

Itagar, May 3: Expressing deep shock at the Monday incident in Tawang that claimed two lives and left many injured in police firing, Lok Sabha member Ninong Ering today conveyed his deepest sense of condolences to the aggrieved families. While praying for the speedy recovery of the injured, the MP made a fervent appeal to the people to maintain peace and tranquillity to help maintain the unique status of Tawang as the abode of Lord Buddha. Anti-dam movement is nothing new but such a tragic incident should not find place in the most peace loving community of Aruchal Pradesh, once known as ‘Island of peace’, Ering said over telephone from New Delhi.
