Tea garden mager ‘kidpped’

Boko, Feb 4: Bhaskar Pathak, Mager of Charaidew Parbat Tea Estate, was allegedly kidpped from Rajapara, 15 km from Boko on NH-37 on Friday night while  he was returning home from Dhupdhara town in his Hyundai i20 car (AS 23L 8925), disclosed his wife.

His family members revealed that the kidpper has demanded Rs 30 lakh as his ransom money. But, on other hand, the owner of the tea estate has alleged that  Pathak was involved in fincial irregularities and the magement had already filed a case against him under IPC 408 section no. 9/17 at Mathurapar Police Station. Pathak was absconding since January 21. Boko Police Station has not disclosed any details till filing of the report. But local people alleged that the tea garden owner was involved in the kidpping.
