Teacher injured in accident

DEMOW, March 19: Harendra th Gohain (55) , resident of Demow Dehajan and teacher at Dehajan Habigaon Primary School was seriously injured in an accident at Santipur on NH-37 under Demow Police Station on Wednesday night. The accident took place Gohain going home in his bicycle from the market when a i-20 car hit him from the backside. Local people took him to Demow Hospital.  He sustained injuries on his head, chest and leg for which he was referred to Assam Medical College (AMC) for further treatment. The car drove away after the accident.
