Teachers’ body seeks online billing system in BTC

UDALGURI, April 13: The Udalguri district committee of Sadou Asom Madhyamik Sikshak aru Karmachari Santha has expressed deep concern over the non-payment of salaries to employees in BTC. Even during the Bihu festival, the BTC administration has failed to pay salary to its employees. The employees are in distress due to non-payment of salaries, the teachers’ body stated. Bhaben Chandra Deka, the president, and Baidyanath Upadhyaya, the general secretary of Udalguri district Madhyamik Sikshak aru Karmachari Santha, have demanded introduction of online billing system in BTC to avoid irregularities and hassles.
