Tennis organizer Prasanta Das no more

GUWAHATI, Feb 10: Veteran Sports organizer and former tennis player Prasanta Das died in the city today after prolonged illness. He was 65 years old.  

Das, former State Champion, won many titles in different State level meets. He was also a qualified official and conducted many tiol Ranking Tourment including the tiols and Davis Cup Tie.

Apart from that Das, the former Joint Secretary of the All Assam Tennis Association played a very prominent role in the promotion and development of tennis in Assam for the last three decades. The All Assam Tennis Association had condoled the death.
