Tense situation in civil hospital

Golaghat, August 22: A tense situation prevailed on Sunday night at Swahid Kushal Konwar Civil Hospital in Golaghat following two separate incidents. According to reports, the first incident took place when a driver allegedly assaulted a patient’s attendant. To control the situation when police reached the spot, allegations were raised against a policeman of misbehaving with another attendant. In a case of attempt to murder, a man stabbed his wife and injured her crttically.  In another incident at Thoramukh Tea Estate, a woman critically injured her husband and the victims of both the cases were brought to the civil hospital.
