'Terrorism is weapon of the coward'

Greater Noida (UP), Oct 28: Hitting out at Pakistan for waging a proxy war with India, Home Minister Rajth Singh on Friday said terrorism was a weapon of the coward. Addressing the 55th Raising Day celebrations of the Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) at Greater Noida in Uttar Pradesh, the Home Minister said there were some forces that were “casting an evil eye” on India and conspiring to destabilise and break it. “India is the fastest growing economy in the world. turally, there are forces which are casting an evil eye on us. They want to destabilise India, they are conspiring to break and weaken our country,” he said.

“Our neighbouring country uses terrorism to wage a proxy war with India. But terrorism is not a weapon of the brave but a weapon of the coward. Brave is one who fights the enemy to its face and doesn’t indulge in proxy war,” said Singh. He also hailed the ITBP’s role in countering Maoist violence in Chhattisgarh and neutralising separatist militants in the northeast. (IANS)
