Terrorist held after bombing in Indonesia

Jakarta, Feb 27: A terrorist was arrested by Indonesian anti-terror squad after he set off a bomb and burned an office building in West Java province on Monday, police said. “The militant has been paralysed and sustained wounds,” Xinhua news agency quoted Inspector General Anton Charlian as saying. The militant exploded one of the two bombs he carried at Pandawa park in Bandung city, and escaped to a nearby village office and burned the building, he said. “He is a member of a terrorist group, classified as an old terrorist network,” said Charlian. Police seized a gun and a backpack from him. (IANS)
