A good number of them also succeded in TET-11 and want to persue better option as subject teacher. But due to not getting no-objection from the department they are facing uncertainty if they at all will be able to appear for verification of their certificates.
The TET board has already announced that the certificates will be verified between April 10 and 20 and producing a no-objection certificate is a must for all in service cadidate. These teachers have applied for no-objection certificate but the department is not issuing it. The succesful teachers are worried as the failure to appear for the verification of certificates will be detrimental for their future as despite proving eligible they will not be able to avail the better chance.
The teachers now serving in secondary stage ( class ix & x) and now qualified for Higher secondary stage (Class xi & xii). The education department is not giving no-objection certificate as requisite qualification and scale of pay in both the post are same. As per rules
the depertment can’t issue no-objection certificate in such case.
On the other hand the qualified teachers said though requisite qualification and scale are same the dignity of a higher secondary teacher in the eye of the society is more and promotion avenue from the higher secondary stage is much bright. They said the depertment should take these aspects into consideration while deciding over their petitions for no-objection certificates.
