TET teachers help flood-affected people

Morigaon, August 7: Morigaon District General TET Teacher Association, in cooperation with Morigaon District Elementary Education Office, has been organizing relief camps and awareness programmes in the district.  

With an aim to aware people on education and health sector, the association has organized  these programmes in flood-affected places in the district. As part of its first step, the association distributed clothes, textbooks among the flood-affected people and students at Mayong and Bhuragaon areas.

The TET association along with Tarun Ch Bora, D.E.E.O. & IS (Morigaon) has been distributing clothes and books among students. Jatindra Mohan Deka , secretary  ( M.D.G.T.Q.T.A.) and Anjan Kr. Saikia , president (M.D.G.T.Q.T.A.) have appealed to the people to provide clothes and other essential materials for the affected people. The relief programme commenced from August 1 and it will end on August 8.
