Tezpur-Delhi daily flight service to re-start

Tezpur, April 24: After a gap of almost 15 years, the much-awaited Tezpur-Delhi daily flight service will re-start from April 26. “The first Kolkata-Jabalpur-Delhi daily passenger flight will take off from Tezpur airport at 1:20 pm on April 26,”  said Arunava Barua, Marketing Head, Zoom Air, while addressing a press meet here at office of the DC conference hall on Tuesday evening in presence of ADC, Sonitpur, KK Sarmah, Haren Singh, Airport Director, Tezpur, and others.

 Barua further said that the air service would be provided by Zoom Airways and the flight would land at Tezpur Salonibari airport at 12:45 pm and the same flight would take off at 1:20 pm from Tezpur towards Kolkata-Jabalpur-Delhi, Barua said. The flight, which will provide regular service from Delhi at 8:45 am every day to Tezpur via Kolkata-Jabalpur, will meet the long-pending demand of the people of the northern belt of the region.
