Tezpur youth found dead in West Bengal

TEZPUR, Oct 12: At a time when the central government and the railway department as well have claimed to have developed every possible systems including ensuring security of the passengers, the reports of harassment on passengers and even killing of railway passengers by miscreants provides a opposite picture to this. Such a tragic incident of alleged murder of a local youth of bil-Kachari area here during a recent train journey has shocked everybody. According to the report received here Khogen Foyal (30) of bil-Kochari under Thelamara Police station in Sonitpur district who was engaged as an employee in a local farm in Benguluru boarded the Benguluru-Tinsukia Express (Train No-15901) on October 4 at 3.10 am to travel to Guawahati. Elder brother of the deceased, Chatrapati Foyal who was also travelling with him said that during their 36-hour-long journey his brother suddenly disappeared from their coach on October 6 in the morning at Hachimara Station in West Bengal. “Even though I searched him in most of the coaches of the train I have not found him. When I reached home next day on October 7, I got a message from the Birpara Police station of Alipurduwar district in West Bengal stating that the body of my brother was found in a tea garden.”
