Tezpur's first eco-friendly e-toilet iugurated

Tezpur, March 24: Indian Army’s Gajraj Corps, Tezpur, dedicated an e-toilet for women in the busy market area of Mission Chariali, Tezpur under Operation Sadbhava. Tezpur’s first eco-friendly e-toilet was iugurated by Bhabani Tamuli Borah, first lady police officer from Sonitpur district and the second in Assam.
 Administrative staff of gram panchayat and block members were also present on the occasion. The hygienically maintained toilet provides self-cleaning toilet facilities to the public.
 The requirement for the toilet facility for women was projected by the aggrieved local populace, represented by the Mission Chariali market committee, through the local administration.  Gajraj Corps responded and processed the request through its Operation Sadbhava initiative, leading to the implementation of this first automated and eco-friendly e-toilet in Tezpur.
