Tezu airport construction work in progress

Itagar, Nov 27: Construction work of Tezu civilian airport is progressing well and is likely to be completed by September next year.
The construction work on the runway, boundary walls, parking lot and draige system of the airport has been completed and the work on passenger termil building is likely to be completed by September next.
This was informed to Chief Minister Pema Khandu by the officials, while he was inspecting the ongoing construction of the civilian airport.
Dr Mohesh Chai, who accompanied the Chief Minister, briefed him on recurring flood damage caused by the Sukha llah that flows near the airport during the monsoon. The river also had caused extensive damages to nearby agriculture farms and villages for which an additiol assistance from the State government has been sought.
