Tezu to host NE festival

 Itagar, Jan 7: Tezu, headquarters of Lohit district will be hosting the three days “Discover North-East India-Aruchal Pradesh Festival-2016 at Loiliang Secondary School Ground on January 12, Tafragam Primary School Ground on January 13 and at Tezu Jubilee Ground on January 14. Artists from Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Odisha, Manipur, Mizoram & Sikkim are participating in the festival, an official report informed. A consultative – cum – co-ordition meeting in connection with the Discover North- East India – Aruchal Pradesh Festival ’2016 was held at DC’s conference hall under the chairmanship of Lohit Deputy Commissioner here yesterday.

Addressing the meeting the DC was very optimistic for the successful conduct of the festival in Tezu. He requested all the Committee Members to work with dedication to make the event successful. He specially emphasized on proper magement of food, lodging, electricity and water supply, sanitation and proper maintence of venues of the celebrations.

Speaking on the occasion, Tezu DACO gave a detailed outline of the festival and also sought the cooperation and support of all members/HoDs present for the success of the festival.
