Thai princess to arrive Shillong today

SHILLONG, Nov 22: Thai princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn will arrive on Wednesday in Shillong for a three-day visit. During her stay the princess will visit Mawlynnong and Sohra. Princess Sirindhorn will be staying at the wettest place on earth, Sohra and would visit Noh Kalikai waterfalls and other tourist spots.  On November 24, the Princess will visit Mawlynnong village, which is known as “Asia’s Cleanest Village” and Dawki village along the Indo-Bangla border.  On the concluding day of her visit to the abode of clouds, Princess Sirindhorn will visit premier North Eastern Hill University and Don Bosco Centre for Indigenous Cultures (DBCIC), the second largest museum in Asia.
