The 7th Children Drama Festival, Sivasagar, Assam Concludes on Wednesday

JOYSAGAR: The 7th Children Drama Festival, Sivasagar, concluded on Wednesday. The School of Drama, Sivasagar held this children drama festival at the Sivasagar Natya Mandir where about 25 drama groups of different cultural organizations of the district took part. About 230 child actors performed in various linguistic plays and showed their talent and prowess in acting. The Ramdhenu Cultural Group of Joysagar received the first prize while Sundarpur Maina Dal won the second prize in the drama competition. The final function and the award function were inaugurated by Jorhat LS MP Kamakhya Prasad Tasa on Wednesday evening.
