The Upper Assam Train Serial killers and Debashish Khargahria's Son Sent to Sivasagar Jail

JOYSAGAR, July 25: Bikash Das alias Bubu (49) and Bipin Pandey (45), the main accused in the Upper Assam train serial murder case, were produced before the Nazira Subdivisional Court on Tuesday after their four-day judicial custody ended. The SIT officials submitted various evidences against the accused as well as the video recording which the SIT officials made while taking the accused to the train compartments at Simaluguri and Mariani Junction to show how they had committed the crimes. The Subdivisional Judge viewed the evidences along with the video of the SIT officials and refused bail to the accused. The judge ordered to send both the accused to the Sivasagar District Jail for another three months.

Meanwhile, Debashish Khargahria, the son of the elderly artiste couple who committed suicide, was also produced before the Sivasagar ACJM court on Tuesday as he had completed the three-day judicial custody. The ACJM Court also refused the bail petition of the accused and ordered to send him to Sivasagar Jail for another two months, sources said.
