Theft cases on the rise in Golaghat

Golaghat, Dec 18: Since the past couple of days, incidents of theft are on the rise in Golaghat. On Saturday evening, a motorcycle was stolen from the heart of Golaghat town. After that, at late night thieves targeted a pharmacy.  The thieves looted medicine and cash from the pharmacy Labonya Medical in the town. The incident came to light on Sunday morning when the proprietor came to open his pharmacy. Incidently, Labonya Medical is located just a few metres away from Golaghat Sadar Police Station. People have started pointing fingers at the police for their alleged iction in checking the rising incidents of theft in the town.
