Theft in Athkhelia amghar in Golaghat

GOLAGHAT (Dhekial), March 6:  Some miscreants  stolen precious orments along with cash from Athkhelia amghar on Sunday night. The incident of theft created sensation in the district. According to a complaint of the amghar authority, the thieves entered the amghar by breaking the main gate of the amghar. They stole cash Rs. 50,000 along with gold and silver flowers valued at around Rs. 2 lakh.  In this regard, the amghar authority filed a case in the local police station. After receiving complaint, the police officials investigated the incident using sniffer dog.  No one has been arrested or detained till filing of the report.
