Theft In Blast Area Despite High Alert Over The Bombing Incident In Guwahati

GUWAHATI: Even with the police authorities under high alert over the bombing incident on Wednesday, a theft occurred at Bishnu Rabha Path, Zoo road at a paan shop. The thieves were however, spotted by a patrolling party and three people were detained. Two of them are minor, 13 and 16 respectively, while Jamir Ali, 23, has been taken into custody. A case (209/19 U/S 379 IPC) has been registered.
