Theft in Nowboicha Senior College

Lakhimpur, Sept 26: After a case of theft in Nowboicha Junior College few months back, property worth around Rs 4 lakh was stolen from Nowboicha Senior College located in the same campus. According to the statement of the Principal of the college, Dilip Hazarika , the incident happened on Friday night. Ten computers each costing more than Rs 40,000 were allegedly stolen by miscreants. They also damaged many glass panels of the college building and entered the computer room after breaking two door locks. After the incident, a large part of the floor in the college was filled with blood spots. Moreover, many bottles of alcohol were found on the spot. The Nowboicha police arrived soon after the incident was reported and said that they had already started the investigation.
