According to sources, on Thursday when the family members were away for the Intertiol Shiva Festival in Sivasagar, the thief stole gold, cash and other valuables from the house. On returning home they found that the door, which was on the backside of their house, was left open and the thief had stolen precious things, gold along with cash from their resident.
