Thief bbed

Duliajan, February 20: A team of oholia police bbed a person in connection with the stealing of OIL’s iron pipes today morning at Madhuting Tili. The arrested person was identified as Babul Deka, son of Rajdeo Deka of Bakuloni Chersiajan under Duliajan police station. According to the police, Deka who is a driver by profession, was carrying few stolen iron pipes of OIL in his TATA AC vehicle, bearing registration number AS23-BC-2030 from Madhuting tea Garden to another place through Madhuting Tili when he was bbed.  Police recovered 5 pipes each of 4 inch thickness and 8 feet length. The value of seized property is approximately Rs.40,000. The vehicle has been seized by the police.
