Thousands bid tearful adieu to Ashraful Hoque

 Goalpara, February 18: The people of Goalpara paid their last tribute to Bollywood actor Ashraful Hoque on Wednesday.  

 After the arrival of his body, thousands of his ardent fans came out on the streets and took out a procession through the main roads of the town.

       AASU, Goria-Moria Jatiya Parishad, AAMSU , Sangskritik Maha Sabha, Writers Guild, DYFI and many other associations joined hands and paid tribute. Earlier, the district unit of AASU brought his body in a decorated vehicle from the LGBI airport. Institutions like Goalpara College and Axom Club also paid tribute..

     Later, his jaja maz was offered at Goalpara College field where thousands of people took part. Filly, his body was laid to rest at Peer Mazar Kabarashtan in the heart of the town.
