Assam’s relation with neighboring states is good: galand Governor

Joysagar, 10  Feb: Thousands throng the AXX’s Centery Session held at historic Sahitya Kandary Padmath Gohain Baruah Kshetra here on the third day today. A special programme was organized to observe Mahabir Chilarai Divas.

galand Governor PB Acharya participated in today’s programme as chief guest.

AXX’s former presidents Late linibala Devi writers Mamoni Raisom Goswami Dr. Deepali Dutta-Kaklata Kakoti-Kanoklata Chaliha memorial lecture Session was iugurated by the galand Governor. Acharya in his speech said that AXX is not only a big literary organization in Assam but also in whole Country.

“Under the umbrella of AXX, Assam is able to show its variety and also unity before the world. In ancient time-Assam was geographically a big state and it was known as SAT BHONI.  Even today, Assam’s relation with  neighboring states is good and with the help of the art-culture and literature we can make it best in coming days,” he said.

The galand Governor formally released a souvenir ‘Ramdhenu’ published on the occasion.

Dr Mahendre Bora, Dr. Nirmalprabha Bordoloi, Dr Anima Dutta and Chitralata Phukan memorial Mandap was opened by guest Hrishikesh Goswami, Press Advisor to the Chief Minister.

A Science Session also held today where science writer Bandita Phukan attended as key speaker. Eli Ahmed and Sports Man- Mr. Universe Mahadev Deka and film producer Dr. Sabi Gogoi also took part in the programme as guest of honour.

Another programme called ‘’Yuba Sonsod” was also organized which was attended by jourlists Mril Talukdar and Prasanta Rajguru.

Another special attraction of today’s agenda was a poet’s meet from Rajasthan Mitha th Nirmoyee attended as chief guest.
