Three absconding in cheating case

Silchar, Nov 1: A police complaint has been lodged at Tarapur police station, against Arabindo Dutta, his wife Sumita Dutta and Moushomi Chutiya, for taking money after promising jobs at the railway division. FIR was lodged by Saptarishi Malakar, a resident of Ward No.14 of Lakhishohor, Hailakandi, on Monday. The couple, resident of vapalli, Tarapur and Moushomi, a resident of India Club Point of this town, have taken Rs.30,000 to Rs.40,000 from many persons by ensuring them of a job. They have been engaged in such unscrupulous acts since one and a half year. A number of people went to their houses on Sunday. Since then they have been fleeing. People have been contacting them for the jobs that they assured, but when they saw no hope, they decided to barge upon their house. Police has assured that investigations are going on in full swing.
