Three arrested for cheating in recruitment

SHILLONG, June 2: The Meghalaya police has arrested three persons for cheating during the recruitment process. According to police, L Syiem, Principal Police Training School cum Member Secretary, Central Recruitment Board, Meghalaya lodged a complaint that on May 31, during persol interview and trade test of the candidates, one Estanrilan Sohphoh appeared for the biometric verification and at the time of screening, it was detected that one Marvelous Kharjahrin had already ran on his behalf in the Physical Efficiency Test (PET) held at Mawiong on November 25, 2016. A day earlier on May 30, Syiem, had lodged a complaint that, during persol interview and trade test of the candidates at PTS, Shillong, one Tyngshainlang Wanniang appeared for the biometric verification and at the time of screening, it was detected that one Kharjahrin had already ran on his behalf in the PET held at Mawiong on November 25, 2016. Police said that Kharjahrin was also caught earlier and a regular case was registered against him.
