Three arrested with arms

Batadrava, March 23: Three hardcore crimils were apprehended in a joint operation conducted by Dhing Police and CRPF personnel in Tuktuki Raumari under Dhing Police Station of gaon.

They were identified as Mainul Haque, Merajul Haque and Residul Haque. The joint team led by Arpan Saikia, Officer in-charge of Dhing Police Station, had carried out the operation at Mainul Haque’s house on Wednesday night and recovered a 9 mm pistol, one hand-made rifle, 8 live rounds, including some sharp objects. The arrested crimils are being interrogated by police at Dhing Police Station.
