MANGALDAI, March 17: Mangaldai Police last night arrested three bike lifters and recovered a scooty from their possession. The arrested bike lifters have been identified as Padum Deka alias Puspa of Bhuyankhat village, Swapan Daimary of Shastrapara village in Udalguri district and Rashmi Deka of Mahaliapara village in Darrang district. The arrested trio reportedly confessed their involvement in bike lifting from various places of the district. They are also involved in breaking of ATMs in different places of the state including in Silchar, police said.
