Three Bosconians bring laurels to Jorhat

JORHAT, May 31: Three Bosconians - Angshuman Dutta (9th), Priyanki Saikia (10th) and Rupsita Gogoi (10th) from Don Bosco Higher Secondary School, Baghchung, Jorhat made Jorhat proud by securing ranks in the HSLC exam, 2017. Angshuman Dutta came 9th with 581 total marks and 96.8 per cent (Assamese-93, Eng-99, Gen.Maths-96, Gen Sc-96, S.Sc-97, Adv Maths-100). Priyanki Saikia came 10th with 580 total marks and 96.6 per cent (Assamese-93, Eng-100, Gen Maths-99, Gen Sc-94, S.St-96, Adv Maths-98).

Rupsita Gogoi also came 10th with 580 total marks and 96.6 per cent (Assamese-93, Eng-100, Gen Maths-96, Gen Sc-95, S Sc-99, Adv Maths-97). On the other hand, from the district of Jorhat, a total of 13,813 candidates appeared while 7,895 passed and the pass percentage is 57.16 per cent.
