Three burglary incidents in Tezpur

Tezpur, July 26: Robbery cases are on the rise in Tezpur city. On Sunday, the town witnessed three separate incidents of bank burglary. According to sources, Mazibur Rahman, resident of Rangapar area in Sonitpur district, had been a victim of loot as miscreants stched Rs.4.50 lakh while he was supposed to deposit the cash at a bank, which is at arm’s length from Tezpur Sadar Police Station. According to the police, in two other separate incidents in SBI, Tezpur and SBI, Mission Charali Branch, miscreants tried to stch cash from the customers and in this connection, two miscreants have been arrested and one of them has been identified as Bikash Das from Bihar, police sources said.
