Three car lifters bbed

GAURISAGAR, Dec 12: Gaurisagar Police bbed three car lifters from Khatkhati in Karbi Anglong district.

According to sources, a Bolero pick-up van bearing registration no AS-04-AC-8795 was stolen from Jhanji Moranchiga Da Chuk under Gaurisagar PS.  The driver Imran Hussain  informed the owner of the van, Ataur Rahman, a resident of Dhai Ali-ward no-2 in Sivasagar district,  who lodged a complaint at Gaurisagar PS .

On Monday night, Bokajan Khatkhati police station under Karbi Anglong district was able to b the car lifters along with the van during regular check gate. On Monday morning a team of Gaurisagar Police brought them from Khatkhati police station to Gaurisagar police station.

They have been identified as Raju Deb th, a resident of Dharmagar, Ward No-2 under Pani sagar PS. in North Tripura, sar Ali of gabandha in Lahorighat PS in Morigaon district and Abu Hanifa of No 2 Bhatia Khali under Rupahihat P.S in Nowgaon district. Police also bbed the driver Imran Hussain of Rajabari Dumia under Batadawa P.S in Nowgaon district.

A case has been registered at Gaurisagar P.S vide no GSR/PSC/No 220/16/U/S 379 in IPC. Dadu Borah, O/C Gaurisagar, said that investigation was going on.
