Three car lifters held

JOYSAGAR, March 4: Charaidew District Police bbed three suspected car lifters from Assam-galand border area on Friday. Sources revealed that during regular checking by police, three persons were held who are identified as Dip Das, Nijam Ahmed and Bikash Sing of Dibrugarh. A Maruti Zen bearing regd. No.AS-06-B-6824 in which they were travelling was seized by the police. Besides, a motorcycle bearing regd. no. AS-23-F-8586 was also recovered from a garage where they had kept it. All were brought to Sori PS for more interrogation and a case has been registered in this connection. Police said that they were trying to flee to mtola of galand when police bbed them.
