Three districts selected for Digital India award

Itagar, Dec 26: The department of electronic and information technology under the union ministry of communications and IT has selected three districts of Aruchal Pradesh as one of the best performers in the country during the Digital India Week observed from July 1 to 7 this year.

The three best districts from Aruchal selected for receipt of awards are msai, Kurung Kumey and East Siang respectively.

The awards will be given away during the upcoming ‘Good Governce Day’ event to be held on December 28 at New Delhi to recognize the best performing states and districts, an official release said here today.

Union Minister of Communication and IT Ravi Shankar Prasad will give away the prizes.

Based on the event data provided from States/UTs, a selection committee constituted has selected the list of winning states/districts of the country, the release added.
