Three hardcore AMEF cadres arrested

SHILLONG, Dec 4: Three hardcore cadres of the proscribed AMEF were today arrested by Ri-Bhoi police while a fourth later surrendered. According to police, in an early morning raid today, conducted by the in-charge of Byrnihat and Pillingkatta outpost in Pynker-C and Langmai area under Pillingkatta outpost three persons were arrested while one maged to escape. Police recovered demand notes of the AMEF, two country made guns and two mobile phones from their possession.
