Three held for running fake birth certificate racket

MANGALDAI, November 1: The police from Panbari Police Outpost under Dhula Police Station in Darrang district on Tuesday arrested three persons, including one petition writer of Mangaldai Court, from different locations of the district on charges of running a fake birth certificate racket related to NRC application.   The accused persons who have already been sent to judicial custody by the court after being produced before it, have been identified as Allauddin Ahmed (52) of ward no-2 , Mangaldai , Abdul Kalam (34) and Arfan Ali (50) both of Rajapukhuri village area under Panbari police outpost .
