Three houses gutted in fire

DIGBOI, May 21: In a devastating fire that broke out on Thursday morning at Borbil No 2 in Digboi, three houses were completely gutted.  

The house belonged to Abdul Matin. His two rented houses also turned to ashes. Fire tenders from the nearby AOD refinery which could not turn up immediately, filly doused the fire in association with the local CRPF team and public. However, the damage caused in the incident was yet to be assessed, and no casualties have been reported.  The cause of the fire was yet to be ascertained though investigation was on till the filling of this report.
