Three illegal bond sawmills seized by forest officials of Nagaon and Salna

NAGAON, July 21:  In a joint drive on Friday by forest officials of Nagaon and Salna ranges led by rangers Nepal Mondal and Salim Ahmed of Nagaon and Salna respectively, three illegal bond sawmills were seized from three separate places like Kuwaritol, Ouguri in Kolibor and Dying Burichapori.

Including these three illegal sawmills, in the month of July the forest officials of Nagaon were able to seize more than 20 illegal bond mills from both the range areas. According to sources, the seized sawmills were owned by Dudukon Bora of Kuwaritol, Montu Saikia of Ouguri in Koliabor and Mutalib Ali of Dhing Burichapari. Interestingly, all the seized  mills have been seized from forest lines areas of the district.
