Three injured in road mishap

SHILLONG, Sep 2: A Silchar bound TATA Sumo (AS11BC – 2123) from Guwahati skidded off the road and fell into a drain at at Umran Niangbyri under Umsning Block in Ri Bhoi District on Thursday.

Three passengers sustained serious injuries. The injured were identified as Hanius Ahmed (20), Min Ahmed (40) and Aribul (11).

The 108 Emergency Service Ambulance based in Umsning helped in shifting the injured to Umsning Community Health Centre (CHC).
