Three injured in road mishaps

SHILLONG, April 5:  One person injured when a Maruti car proceeding towards Mawryngkneng collided head with a truck coming from the opposite direction.

The incident occurred on the Shillong by-pass road at Thangshalai under Mawryngkneng block in East Khasi Hills district on April 4.

Three occupants of the Maruti car sustained injuries during the collision and they have been shifted to Shillong Civil Hospital by the 108 Emergency Service Ambulance based in Mawryngkneng. In another accident on April 4, two persons were injured when a Swift Dezire car (ML05F – 6844) heading towards Shillong from Sohra hit a truck parked on the side of the road at 12th Mile under Mylliem Block, East Khasi Hills district.

Dimalu Daimari (24) and Arazul Khakalari (21) were shifted to Shillong Civil Hospital.
