Three Injured in Separate Accidents in Jorhat

JORHAT: At least three persons were knocked down by a speeding bike and a scooty in two different places. One accident took place on Sunday night while another took place on Monday afternoon at Lichubari Colony. A speeding scooty knocked down Polan Das on Sunday night. He sustained multiple injuries on his legs but the scooty rider managed to flee from the scene. On the other hand, Dipak Das and Krishna Das were hit by a speeding Pulsar bike near Don Bosco School, Lichubari on Monday afternoon. They both are carpenters and they were going home from lunch on a bicycle when a speeding bike hit them. Both received multiple injuries on their legs and hands and were rushed to Jorhat Medical College and Hospital. The bike rider managed to flee from the scene, said Ujjal Bora, the in-charge of Lichubari Outpost.
