Three killed in Churachandpur district

IMPHAL, February 11: Three tribal people were killed in Churachandpur district yesterday by suspected miscreants. Their bodies were found near the Vaison Cemetary in the district. The dead persons have been identified as Jongkholun, Manglensei and Sotinpai. No weapon was found from the site. It apears that they were first overpowered and then killed.

Five extortion letters were recovered from their possession.  

There have been factiol killings among some outfits of late in the State. Police have registered a case. No arrest has been made in this case so far.
