Three killed in road mishap at Jhallong

DEMOW, Dec 26: In Sivasagar district near Demow at Jhallong NH-37 Road, an  accident took place recently in which three people died.

An Alto car (AS 06 N-0260) which was coming from Moran and was on its way to Demow, was hit from behind by a Traveller  (HR 38 P 9594).  Budhin Borah, son of Deb Borah of Demow, Abhijit Buragohain, son of Fanidhar Buragohain of Dhemachi Hensuawaphukhuri, and Sujit Singh, son of Golap Singh of gaon died in the accident. While Abhijit Buragohain died on the spot, the other two succumbed to their injuries on the way to the hospital. The Moranhat Police have taken both the vehicles in their custody.
