Three killed in separate accidents in Rangia

Rangia, March 10: Three persons were killed on the spot in two separate road accidents on NH-31 at  Amingaon and Rangia Bhatkuchi on Thursday. A vehicle knocked down a police constable in front of the Kamrup SP office in the wee hours of Thursday. He was identified as Bhaben Kalita of Changsari. In another accident, two persons including one driver died on the spot when an iron-laden truck (AS 01 BC 2550) rammed into a pick-up van (AS 15 C 7266) in which they were travelling at Rangia Bhatkuchi. The  deceased were identified as Zakir Ali of Jharpara under Barpeta district and the other as Mainul Haque of Jania.
